The North Campus English Department will hold their department showcase on Jan. 20 at 12 p.m. in building 4, 11380 N.W. 27 Ave. The event is meant to encourage students on a pathway to a major in English, speech, creative writing or literature.
“I attended this showcase last year and loved it. I am majoring in English, and interacting with other English majors made me feel like I belonged there,” said Andrea Gonzalez, a sophomore at North Campus.
Faculty will give brief presentations. Students who attend can meet the department advisor, mingle with other students and watch faculty performances including poetry/ prose readings.
