Feminist Author To Speak At Books & Books

American author Ada Calhoun will discuss her book Why We Can’t Sleep: Women’s New Midlife Crisis at Books & Books, 265 Aragon Ave., on Feb. 4 at 8 p.m.

The nonfiction book explores topics of divorce, debt and midlife crises that Generation X women, aged between 40-54, often face. Calhoun interviewed several women across the United States, and found that many were exhausted and unemployed.

She will discuss Generation X’s cultural and political predicaments, and work through solutions for women to escape the cycle at the event.

The event will be held in collaboration with the Miami Book Fair.

Although entrance is free, attendees are asked to RSVP at www.eventbrite.com/e/meet-ada-calhoun-tickets-87705677041
