Cuban Art To Be Displayed At Freedom Tower

Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art and Design will be exhibiting Francisco Gelabert’s show entitled A Dialog With Time as part of MOAD’s 2014-2015 session. The exhibition will be on display in the Main and Skylight Galleries at the Freedom Tower in Miami. It will open from May 23 through  Aug.  23.

A Dialog With Time series consists of a series of thought-provoking large-scale sculptures, installations, drawings and sketches which have never been exhibited before.

Gelabert’s work depicts the unique diaspora lived by Cuban experimentalist. His art, design, and his early beginnings in Cuba to his now famous architectural set designs, reaches far beyond the usual mono-materialist expression of a traditional sculpture.

The exhibition is free and open to the general public.
