Freedom Tower Exhibit Shows Culture Across Borders

Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art and Design will exhibit Terrestrial Bodies at Freedom Tower, 600 Biscayne Blvd., in the College Cuban Legacy Gallery until April 26.

The exhibition aims to showcase commonalities between different cultures by displaying mass produced objects and souvenirs from around the world.

Juana Valdes, who created the exhibition, explores her own experience emigrating to the United States from Cuba.

The gallery is free and open to the public.
