Every third Saturday of the month, Miami Dade College’s Museum of Art + Design hosts a tour of the historical Freedom Tower located at 600 Biscayne Blvd. Miami.

Attendants have access to local exhibits and projects done on the first two floors of the building.

The next tour will take place June 17 from 2 p.m.to 3 p.m.

The Freedom Tower, which was designated a national historical landmark, was donated to MDC in 2008. The site served as a reception point for Cuban exiles from 1962 through 1974.

Admission is free to the public, but an RSVP is required and can be done through the MDC website mdcmoad.org or  call (305) 237-7700.
