Get Fit At MDC With The SharkFIT Active Program

SharkFIT Active is a program designed by trainers at the Fitness and Wellness centers at Miami Dade College that allows members to strive toward their weight-loss or muscle-gain goals.

The program provides participants eight weeks of tailored exercise routines that include a pre-assessment and post-assessment. The program focuses on effective stress relief, proper nutrition and establishing a healthy lifestyle.

Participants are rewarded with points when they complete each exercise session. Winners are announced weekly and at the end of the competition. Those that complete the program are recognized during a yearly ceremony.

Registration for SharkFIT Active is offered during the second week of every fall and spring semester. Visit the Fitness and Wellness counter with a valid gym membership to sign up.
