Homestead Campus To Host Virtual Club Rush

The Student Life Department at Homestead Campus will host a virtual club rush on Jan. 20 from noon to 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams

A slideshow presentation will display the different clubs offered at Homestead Campus. The event will also teach students how to join Sharknet—an online platform that showcases all organizations across the different MDC campuses—and promote club-sponsored events.

“Even during the pandemic, we hope that students are able to join different clubs in order for them to engage within the college experience,” said Macrina Perez, the Clubs and Community Coordinator at Student Life. “Even though we can’t be here physically, we still want them to participate in activities online.”
