The Idea Center at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus, 315 N.E. Second Ave. in building 8, 5th floor, is hosting the Land Your Dream Job in Technology mixer and information session on March 27 at 6 p.m.
At the mixer, students can learn more about the Introduction to Programing class scheduled for this summer. The mixer will be conducted by students who are enrolled in the class and faculty who teach it. They will answer questions that students have on the class as well as the Launch Code program.
When students enroll and pass the class, they have the opportunity to take the launch program test. Organizers say passing that test can open doors to many job opportunities that the Launch Code program provides.
