Interior Design Students Win “Most Historical” At Interior Design Association Design Mix Show

Miami Dade College’s interior design students from the School of Architecture and Interior Design won the “Most Historical” award at the local International Interior Design Association Design Mix show on March 16.

Eighteen teams gathered at the Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne Club House to present their designs on a runway in front of numerous industry professionals and a panel of judges.

The students won the award for their porcelain-tiled dress design, which was inspired by Greek goddess Gaia. MDC’s interior design students have won awards for each year that they have participated in this event, making this their eighth award.
