Jazz At Wolfson Presents Series To Host Sheryl Bailey

Sheryl Bailey will perform at the Wolfson Campus Auditorium, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., in Room 1261 on Nov. 7 at noon.

Bailey is an American jazz guitarist and a professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and at the Collective in New York. Her accolades include third place in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Guitar competition in 1995 and being chosen as a Jazz Ambassador for the U.S. State Department in 2000.

The Jazz at Wolfson Presents Series was launched by Miami Dade College professor Michael Di Liddo. It’s the largest continuously operating free jazz series in Miami-Dade County.

The performance is free and open to the public.
