Jazz At Wolfson To Present Violinist Sara Caswell

The Jazz at Wolfson Presents series will host a performance by violinist Sara Caswell on March 17 at noon via Miami Dade College’s live stream website.

Caswell, a Grammy-nominated artist, currently works as a music professor at the Berklee College of Music and Manhattan School of Music.

She performs regularly with her two music groups—the Sara Caswell Quartet and the Caswell Sisters Quintet—and has toured with artists such as Brad Mehldau and Esperanza Spalding. Caswell has also performed at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops orchestra.

Jazz at Wolfson Presents is a recurring year-round series. It brings various jazz performers to Miami Dade College.

The performance is free and open to the public.

Adriana Dos Santos, 20, is a mass communication/journalism major in The Honors College at North Campus. Dos Santos, who graduated from Ronald W. Reagan/Doral Senior High School in 2019, will serve as editor-in-chief, briefing editor and social media director for The Reporter during the 2020-2021 school year. She aspires to work at a public relations firm.
