Karen Rifas To Showcase Exhibit At Freedom Tower

Miami-based artist, Karen Rifas, will showcase her latest work, 20 miniature, carefully constructed pieces of art called Macchietta, Small Sketches from Sept. 4 through Jan. 31.

The exhibit will will be displayed on the second floor of MDC’s Museum of Art and Design (MOA+D) located in the Historic Freedom Tower, 600 Biscayne Blvd.

Rifas work has been exhibited in North Carolina and New York as well as Brazil and Berlin.

Hours of operation  for the exhibit at the Freedom Tower are Wednesday through Sunday  from 12  p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the museum is free and open to the public.
