Kendall Campus Offers Group Exercise Classes

The Kendall Campus Fitness and Wellness Center is offering new exercise programs for Miami Dade College students, including yoga, cardio kickboxing and more.

Those interested in joining these classes must be registered as credit or noncredit students, current employees or retirees. The memberships and programs are sold together.

“The benefit of these classes is that it allows students to attend classes with certified instructors while enhancing participating in our classes,” said Cookie Rosell, the Health and Wellness Center director.

Lorena Umaña ,19, is a mass mass communications/journalism major at Kendall Campus. Umaña, a 2014 graduate of Felix Varela Senior High School, will serve as a staff writer for The Reporter during the 2015-2016 school year. She aspires to work for National Geographic or become a book editor.
