Kendall Campus To Host Free Drive-Thru Food Distribution

A free drive-thru food distribution will be held at Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104th St., on Jan. 16 from 9 a.m. to noon or while supply lasts.

The Kendall Campus Single Stop and Student Life offices are hosting the event in collaboration with FarmShare, a non-profit organization battling food insecurity in Florida.

We have to focus on our community’s most basic need of food to continue to grow and overcome the hardships 2020 has thrown at us,” said Single Stop Coordinator Natacha Fuentes-Calvo.

Drivers must enter the campus at S.W. 100th St. and S.W. 107th Ave. and proceed to the right onto Perimeter Road. They must wear face masks and remain inside their vehicles at all times.

For more information, contact Fuentes-Calvo at nfuente1@mdc.edu.
