Kesheria McNeil Returns From Injury To Lead MDC

After playing the first two games of the season—both loses—without their top three point guards out due to injuries, the Miami Dade College Lady Sharks basketball team has slowly started to heal.
All three point guards returned for the third game of the season, a 64-61 win against Daytona State College.

The group has been led by sophomore Kesheria McNeil, 20, who has come on strong, scoring 33 points, grabbing six rebounds, dishing out nine assist, blocking seven shots, and  adding nine steals against Florida State College on Nov. 22.

“I made sure to get treated for my injuries and stretched properly before games and practices,” McNeil said. “I’ve stayed strong and kept a positive mind about it all.”
