Koubek Center Presents La Ira De Narciso

The Koubek Center, 2705 S.W. Third St., is showcasing La Ira De Narciso (The Rage of Narcissus), a play written by French-Uruguayan playwright Sergio Blanco, from July 26-27 at 8:30 p.m. and on July 28 at 5 p.m.

Set in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the production follows Blanco—played by Gabriel Agüero—who becomes paranoid after discovering an unremovable bloodstain in his hotel room.  

“Behind this work lies a profound intellectual reflection on humanity and on recognizing ourselves in others,” Agüero said. 

The play, which will be performed in Spanish, is part of the 38th International Hispanic Theater Festival of Miami
