Little Haiti Book Festival Returns In May

The Miami Book Fair and Sosyete Koukouy will host the annual Little Haiti Book Festival in May to celebrate Haitian cultural and literary talent.

It will take place in-person at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, 212 N.E. 59th Terrace, on May 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and virtually on May 18.

Attendees can enjoy live performances, traditional Haitian games and a panel discussion featuring authors, artists and community leaders.

“The festival highlights unity within diversity, emphasizing the significance of celebrating one another’s cultures and fostering inclusivity by broadening our perspectives to appreciate the beauty surrounding us,” said M.J. Fievre, the ReadCaribbean and Little Haiti Book Festival coordinator.

The event is free and open to the public.
