Live Arts Miami To Host National Water Dance For Earth Day Weekend

National Water Dance, in conjunction with Live Arts Miami, will perform at Crandon Beach Park, 6767 Crandon Blvd at 3 p.m. as part of Earth Day Weekend.

The group is a collective of dancers whose aim is to raise awareness  to environmental issues and social justice through dance, music and visual arts.

This year’s theme is “Moving Forward Together.” The event will feature a tour of the Biscayne Nature Center’s native flora, an eco-summit, a performance by the NWD, a beach clean-up and a sunset happy hour.

“Art is the ethos of change-making, it leads people to create action and change,” said Kathryn Garcia, LAM executive director.
