Live Art’s Miami To Host Social Gatherings For Performing Artists

Miami Dade College’s Live Arts LABS Alliance (LALA) program, an initiative aimed at uniting performing artists, is hosting social gatherings at the Koubek Center, 2705 S.W. Third St., from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 18 and June 15.

The sessions, which will be led by Octavio Campos, the program’s creative facilitator, will feature theatrical icebreakers, group discussions and time for artists to work on their craft.

“I aim to take artists out of isolation and into community…to have a space of their own to express themselves without limitations,” said Octavio Campos.
