Live Arts Miami To Present Haint Blu By Urban Bush Women

Live Arts Miami will present the Haint Blu ensemble dance-theater performance by the Urban Bush Women at the Historic Hampton House, 4240 NW 27th Ave., Room 3010.

The shows, which feature dance performances that emphasize healing, will take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 9, 10 and 11 and at 6:30 p.m. on March 12.

Urban Bush Women is a Brooklyn-based performance ensemble that aims to amplify the women-centered perspective of the African diaspora community. 

Haint Blu is the color used by Southern African-American families to paint their porches to guard against evil spirits.
