Maker Faire Returns To Wolfson Campus In April

Miami Dade College will host Maker Faire Miami 2018 from April 8 to April 9 at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave.

Tickets will be available in January. A day pass will cost $15 and a two day pass will cost $20. The event is free for MDC students and faculty.

The event is in partnership with MANO Americas, The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Maker Media. The Maker Faire will showcase inventions and interactive exhibits pertaining to the areas of science, engineering, art, performance and craft.

MANO Americas is a nonprofit organization that brings live educational experiences about technology to communities. The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is a nonprofit foundation that focuses on journalism and art.
