Margarita Cano: Once Upon An Island Exhibit At Wolfson

The Centre Gallery at Wolfson Campus is hosting the exhibition, “Margarita Cano: Once Upon an Island (Habia Una Vez Una Isla).”

The exhibit is located in building 1 at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., in Room 1365. It is open Wednesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. during October.

A special reception will be held on October 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the artist, Margarita Cano, who was born in Havana, Cuba and arrived to the United States on October of 1962. Cano is an artist known for telling vivid magical stories through her art and photos. The exhibit depicts her experience in Cuba and her journey coming to the United States.

Admission to the exhibit is open to everyone for no charge.
