MDC And FIU Launch Animation And Gaming Stipulation Agreement

Miami Dade College and Florida International University signed an articulation agreement on Nov. 14 for students studying at the Miami Animation and Gaming International Complex.

It allows students pursuing an associate’s degree in animation & game art and game development & design to seamlessly transfer to a digital communication and media bachelor’s program at FIU.

“This gives us an opportunity to get more in-depth in animation and gaming,” said MAGIC Chairperson Mauricio Ferrazza. “We are seeing a lot of jobs being created here in Miami and we want to retain the talent.

The agreement will start next Fall semester. Two years ago, a similar agreement was signed between MDC and Florida Atlantic University.
