MDC Foundation Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Julia Vives has been selected as the new chief operating officer at the Miami Dade College Foundation. She started her post on Feb. 14.

Vives, 37, is responsible for managing the foundation’s databases, donor relations, serving as a liaison for the board of directors and working with their chief executive officer.

Before coming to Miami Dade College, she served as the vice president and chief operating officer at The Miami Foundation where she worked for 11 years.
