MDC R&B Ensemble To Perform At Shark Tank

Miami Dade College’s Rhythm and Blues Ensemble will perform at the Shark Tank at Kendall Campus, 11011 SW 104th St., on Oct. 14 at 12 p.m.  

The ensemble, which consists of piano, bass, drums, guitar and multiple vocalists, will perform arrangements of R&B and Pop hits from 1960 to the present day, honoring artists like Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie and Mary J. Blige. 

In the past, the ensemble has performed motown, soul, jazz, and classic rock music and performances have included renditions of songs by artists like Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Wilson Pickett and B.B. King. 

The event is free to the public.
