MDC To Host Randy Boaz EMS Skills Competition

The Randy Boaz Advanced Life Support Competition, a one-day contest for paramedic and emergency teams to perform real-life simulated situations, will be held on June 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Medical Campus, 950 NW 20 St.

During the competition, best practices and techniques are reinforced through emergency scenarios. Local, state, national and international teams participate.

The competition is held in memory of Randy Boaz who was a respected leader in the emergency services field and a faculty member at Medical Campus. Teams are required to check in at 7 a.m. 

First, second and third-place teams will receive a certificate and trophy.
