MDC To Host Vendor Fair For Student Entrepreneurs

Wolfson Campus will host a vendor fair on Feb. 28 to allow 20 student entrepreneurs to promote their business ventures to the public.

The event will be held at Kyriakides Plaza, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., from 11:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will be led by the Idea Center and the Wolfson Campus Student Government Association. 

To register as a vendor, students can submit a sign-up form at https://bit.ly/3XmFcn6 by 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 22.

Applicants must submit their name, student ID, and the name, purpose and background of their business.

The event, which will feature live music and games, is free and open to the public.

After graduating in 2017 from Fusion Academy Englewood in New Jersey, Valkenburg studied at Fordham University in New York City before relocating to Miami during the coronavirus pandemic. She will serve as a news writer for The Reporter during the 2023-2024 school year. Valkenburg aspires to work in the public relations field.
