Medical Campus Students Offering Free Massages

Medical Campus students will provide free massage therapy to people feeling stressed or in need of some relaxation on Mondays at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. and on Thursdays at 6 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 8:25 p.m.

The student practicing massage will give a relaxation Swedish massage, which is part of their curriculum, and will attempt to address areas of discomfort on the client. The Massage Therapy will take place at the Miami Dade College Medical Campus 950 N.W. 20 St.

People will experience a full body massage in the clinic for 50 minutes. Although the massages are free, donations are accepted and will go to the Miami Rescue Mission and the Massage Therapy Student Education Fund.
