Miami Book Fair To Host Pre-Fair Author Events

The Miami Book Fair at Miami Dade College, in partnership with Books & Books, is hosting a litany of pre-fair author events from Sept. 2 to Nov. 5 at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave.

Among the expected guests: Salman Rushdie, Cindy Crawford, Tim Weiner, Diana Nyad, David Mitchell and Rick Riordan.

The Crawford and Mitchell events will be held in the auditorium in Building 1, Room 1261. The Rushdie, Weiner, Nyad and Riordan events will be held in the Chapman Conference Center in building 3, Room 3210. The events will be at 7 p.m.

All  events, except the Riordan event, are “buy 1 book, get two tickets.” The Riordan event is “buy 1 book, get 1 ticket.”
