MDC Child Care Scholarship Is Open For Applications

The Miami Dade College Child Care Scholarship is available to students who have dependents under the age of ten and attend a certified child care facility.

The scholarship—a prize of up to $1,000—has an ongoing deadline and requires students to submit the childcare provider’s information in order to qualify.

Applicants must complete a 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to demonstrate financial need. They must also be enrolled in at least six credits per semester, show academic progress and upload a letter from their child care facility indicating that the child is actively receiving care.

The application is available at this link.
