Miami Dade College Live Arts Presents Holoscene

MDC Live Arts presents an epic public showcase that embodies the trauma of flooding called Holoscene. The event will take place in the Kyriakides Plaza at Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave., on Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. They will also present the work during Miami’s Art Basel on Miami Beach on Dec. 5.

In these creative performances, viewers will experience rotating artists who play out day to day behaviors such as shaving, drumming and runningall in a flooded/flooding inhabited aquarium.

The event will allow you to gain a sense of a poetic motion and a stream of consciousness to global climate change since we continue to live in the enormously argued Anthropocene epoch defined as a time when humans have great influence on the environment. For more information on the show contact MDC LiveArts at 305-237-3010.
