Miami Dade College Offering Free Virtual Yoga Classes

West Campus Student Life is hosting a free yoga class—De-Stress from the Mess—every Tuesday at 1 p.m. through Cisco Webex.

The next session will be held on July 21. Attendees will learn a series of yoga poses and techniques aimed at helping them relax.

Sessions are hosted by Madalay Fleming—a former English for Speakers of Other Languages professor at Eduardo J. Padrón Campus and current owner of Simply Yoga, a studio in Miami Springs.

“Yoga isn’t just about exercise but meditating and relaxing and unwinding,” Fleming said. “It’s extremely important especially during these circumstances, not just for physical health but emotional as well.”

Attendees can register here. The access code for the session is 120 635 0661.
