Miami Dade College Providing Online Tutoring To Students

Learning Resources is offering free online tutoring to students during the coronavirus pandemic.

One-on-one and group tutoring is available in a variety of subjects such as foreign language, speech, reading, writing, business, STEM courses and more.

Services are facilitated on Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, Promethean and other web conferences tools. They are open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

For students that need help outside of those hours, MDC is offering Smarthinking, a 24/7 online tutoring platform that is available through a student’s Blackboard courses. Professors must add the extension to their course to make it available.

To visit the site, click here. Find the campus where you are typically tutored at, and select the subject you want to receive help in. Students will then be matched with a tutor.

For more information, contact the Learning Resources department at your respective campus.
