Miami Dade College To Host In-Person Open House Events

Miami Dade College is hosting various on-campus open house events to allow incoming students to learn about events, academic opportunities and potential job training. 

There will also be information about financial aid, scholarships, admission, and student organizations. 

Here is the schedule of the upcoming open houses:

  • Hialeah Campus: April 21 from 5-7 p.m. in Room 5105. 
  • Homestead Campus: May 5 from 5-7 p.m. in the building D breezeway. 
  • North Campus: May 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Science Complex Plaza. 
  • Kendall Campus: May 13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Fred Shaw Memorial Plaza between building 2 and building 9. 
  • Padrón Campus: May 18 from 5-7 p.m. in the Flag courtyard.
  • Wolfson Campus: May 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Kyriakides Plaza, which is located in the building 2 breezeway. 
  • West Campus: May 25 from 5-7 p.m. in the parking garage breezeway. 

Guests will be required to wear a mask at all times and stay at least six feet apart. Surfaces will be constantly disinfected to protect staff and guests.

Oriana Rodriguez

Oriana Rodriguez, 17, is a dual enrollment student at West Campus. Rodriguez, who is a senior at Ronald W. Reagan/Doral Senior High School, will serve as a staff writer for The Reporter during the 2020-2021 school year. She aspires to be a journalist or a lawyer.
