Miami Dade College To Offer New Coding Program

Miami Dade College will launch Miami Codes, a project that aims to help minority students improve their computer programming skills.

Courses will take place at West Campus next Spring. They will be offered through Apple’s community education initiative that offers two rigorous, eight-week iOS app development courses using Swift—an increasingly popular programming language.

Aside from providing the necessary hardware to complete the course, the program will cover participants’ tuition, certification and commuting costs.
