Miami-Dade County is collecting donations to support communities affected by the June 24 earthquakes in Venezuela.
Financial donations can be made online through Global Empowerment Mission and United Way Miami.
In addition, GEM is also accepting supplies such as nonperishable food, water, hygiene products, first-aid kits, flashlights, batteries, blankets and tents. Donation sites can be found through their online location finder.
Donations can be dropped off outside the Inter Miami CF Team Store at Nu Stadium through July 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Miami Dade College, in partnership with GEM, is accepting donations through July 2 at several locations across all eight campuses.
The donor locations are North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27th Ave., Room 4208, the Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center, 6300 N.W. 7th Ave., Room 1101-03, Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Ave., Room 2101, Medical Campus, 950 N.W. 20th St., Room 1116, Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace, Room A-204, the Eduardo J. Padrón Campus, 627 S.W. 27th Ave., Room 6018, Hialeah Campus, 1780 W. 49th St., Room 2102, and West Campus, 3800 N.W. 115th Ave., Room 1312.
