MOAD Accepting Submissions For Second Annual Art Contest

The Museum of Art and Design is accepting submissions for its second annual art contest. 

Contestants must submit an original piece of art that corresponds to this year’s theme, the Spirit of Miami. Up to three entries are allowed per person.

Participants must be Miami Dade College students, at least 18 years old and provide valid Florida-issued identification.

The first-place winner will receive a $200 gift certificate for Blick Art Materials and will be featured on MOAD and the Freedom Tower’s Instagram accounts. 

The top three winners will receive invitations to MOAD’s annual Miami Art Week Reception on Dec. 5. 

Submissions are due on Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. All work should be submitted by email to Jennifer Weinberg at jweinbe1@mdc.edu
