MOAD To Screen Post-War Art Documentary

The Museum of Art and Design will present an 80-minute documentary film entitled New Town Utopia on Oct. 10 at the Bill Cosford Cinema, 5030 Brunson Drive, at 6 p.m.

The documentary, directed by Christopher Ian Smith, revolves around the utopian dreams of several poets, musicians and artists in a post-war era. The characters learn to improve their community through their diverse forms of creative expression.

It features Oscar-winning actor Jim Broadbent and British filmmaker Vincent O’Connell. 

The event is free and open to the public.
