After the polls close in Florida for the midterm elections, MTV will celebrate the efforts of young people who voted with their Election after party at Miami Dade College’s Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104th St., on Nov. 6 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The party is a youth-focused election party with performances by Fat Joe, PRETTYMUCH, DJ Nasty and Lauren Jauregui. The Election Party is under MTV’s midterm campaign, +1 the Vote, which promotes the use of a buddy system to help increase voting among young people.
MTV’s Election Afterparty is for people 18 and older. The event is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
