New World School Of The Arts Students Present One-Man Shows At The One Festival

The New World School of The Arts continues its yearly tradition of winter one-man shows with The One Festival at the Louise O. Gerrits Theater, 25 N.E. 2 St., on the eighth floor.

Performances serve as a thesis for graduating bachelor of fine arts acting and musical theater students.

“There’s no one set theme,” says Andrea Arthur, the head screenwriter for The One Festival. “There’s mixtures of comedies and dramas, so that’s always cool.”

Twenty performances will be conducted throughout four days. The first two slots will be from Dec. 14-15 and the next two on Jan. 5-6.

Performances will be held at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each day.

The event is free and open to the public with pre-registration at https://bit.ly/3R6lNXD
