North Campus Appoints New Associate Dean Of Faculty

Claudia Bonilla has been selected as the new associate dean of faculty at North Campus. She started her new post on Aug. 16.

Bonilla will work alongside her team to guarantee the faculty is aligned to Miami Dade College’s mission and strategy plan. 

For the past four years, she served as the chairperson of the North Campus Mathematics Department. Prior to that, she was an adjunct faculty teaching mathematics at the College for more than six years.

Before coming to MDC, she worked at Nova Southeastern University as a manager of client support services and a technology support engineering coordinator. She got her start at Strayer University as a mathematics professor.

Bonilla received her bachelor’s degree in computer information systems in 2004, earned her master’s degree in mathematics teacher education in 2007 and a doctorate degree in education in 2015 from Nova Southeastern University.
