North Campus FBLA Chapter Earns First-Place Awards At State Conference

The Phi Beta Lamba Future Business Leaders of America Chapter at North Campus earned two first-place awards at the State Leadership Conference held in Orlando on March 16-19.

The conference tested students’ knowledge in areas such as business law, digital media, marketing and business management.

“We have an excellent group this year,” said Rene Choy, who serves as the North Campus FBLA Chapter advisor. “They’re very dedicated.”

North Campus earned the following first-place awards:

• First-place in economic analysis and decision-making/ team award: Giovanni Piard, Richemonde Israel and Kyle Quesada
• First-place in marketing concepts: Gabriella Valdes

The team will attend the PBL National Leadership Conference in Atlanta from June 22 to 25.
