North Campus Students Earn Full Scholarships To Tuskegee University

Three North Campus students won full-ride scholarships to attend Tuskegee University in Alabama.

The 2020 Tuskegee University Distinguished Presidential Scholarship recipients are nursing students Jacques Virgelin and Lunadia Raoul and veterinary technology student Hali Braynon. The scholarships includes tuition, room and board and a $800 stipend for textbooks.

“It means a chance to put my full focus on my education without having to worry about any financial burden,” Virgelin said.

To qualify, students need an associate’s degree and they must have at least a 3.5 GPA. The scholarship is available through Miami Dade College’s articulation agreement with Tuskegee University.
