Aquatic Transport: The Staten Island Ferry is a 25-minute, fare-free ride that gives passengers views of New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The 5.2-mile trek is taken by nearly 22 million people every year. The event included food and drinks from women-owned businesses, a letter-writing station, and VR headsets to draw and paint.
