Poll Workers Needed For Upcoming Elections

Poll workers are needed for the 2012 presidential election on Nov. 6.

Positions such as clerk, assistant clerk, check-in inspector, ballot table inspector, optical scan inspector, and ivotronic inspector are available. Poll workers can earn up to $246 per election.

Students who are interested should visit their Campus Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy office to receive an application or go online to download it.  

To participate, you must be a registered voter in Miami-Dade County and be able to read and write in English.

Application deadline is October 1, 2012.
