President Padrón To Be Honored By HANA

Miami Dade College President Eduardo J. Padrón will receive the 2017 Trailblazer Award from the Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida at the 33rd Annual Scholarship Fundraising and Awards Gala on April 8.

Founded in 1984, HANA is a nonprofit dedicated to helping nurses gain opportunities in dealing with issues of health and offering services in their communities in Florida and abroad.  

“I am honored to receive such a high praise from the Haitian American Nurses Association of Florida.” Padrón said. “Awards like this one are thanks to the hard work and dedication of all the faculty, staff and students at MDC, a place where we constantly innovate to ensure our students are prepared to succeed in an evolving and challenging global economy.”
