Professor To Discuss Mass Incarceration Among Minorities

Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace., will host a discussion about the high incarceration rates among the African American population on Feb. 11 at 11:15 a.m. in Room F222.

The discussion, entitled The New Jim Crow, will be led by philosophy professor Aaron Mobley. He will argue that the high rates come from a caste system in the United States that gives African Americans second-class status.

It’s free and open to the public.
