Professor To Present History Of Miami Lecture

Jose Aragon, a history and sociology professor, will present a lecture on the history of the City of Miami at Eduardo J. Padrón Campus, 701 S.W. 27th Ave., on Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. in Room 6073. 

He will address prominent figures and aspects of Miami’s history such as orange cultivation as well as Railroad Industrialist Henry M. Flagler and Julia Tuttle, who formerly owned and founded the city.

A question and answer portion will follow the discussion.
