Alexander Ontiveros, an illustrator and editorial cartoonist for The Reporter, has been selected as a finalist for the Associated Collegiate Press Editorial Cartoon of the Year award.

Ontiveros was selected based on an editorial cartoon he made about the nationwide protests following the shooting death of George Floyd, who was killed by a Minneapolis police officer on May 25.
