Scholarship Available For The Families Of 9/11 Victims

Logo for Scholarship America.The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund is providing financial assistance to children and dependents of those killed or permanently injured as a result of the 9/11 attacks. 

Eligible applicants include dependent children, spouses or domestic partners of victims, such as airplane passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors, emergency medical and law enforcement personnel.  

The need-based scholarship is available to students born prior to Sept. 30, 2008, and must be enrolled in a post-secondary program prior or upon turning 24. 

Recipients may receive funds for up to four consecutive years, varying on total funding available.  

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis at www.familiesoffreedom.org/apply/.
